Liverpool/ John Henry put money for Anfield redevelopment

LIVERPOOL JOHN HENRY PUT MONEY FOR ANFIELD REDEVELOPMENT/ Liverpool – According to Liverpoolecho.co.uk, Fenway Sports Group is going to have £150m to redevelop Anfield once property acquisitions, planning processes and other issues are resolved, but if and when certainty with partners and processes is achieved, the cash will be there to fund it says John Henry. In the plan the Reds want to redevelop the stadium giving a new look to the Main Stand and Anfield Road stands, giving 15,000 more seats then at present, here it is some words from the tycoon: “I think we were clear at one point that what made financial sense was going in this direction – and this is the direction that makes financial sense for the club for a long time. Obstacles are being overcome”.
