Brendan Rodgers has signed a new four-year contract at Liverpool. The Reds boss has put pen to paper on the deal he agreed in principle at the start of the month. The new contract run until 2018 and is reward for guiding Liverpool to a second-placed finish in the Champions League. Rodgers said: “I am both humbled and privileged to be offered the chance to extend my stay at this great club. I am very happy to build on the foundations we have built over the last two years and now we move onto the next phase which I believe will be as exciting, challenging and rewarding”.
