Barcelona are reportedly weighing up an offer for Liverpool defender Daniel Agger. He spent the majority of the title run-in on the substitutes’ bench after being displaced by towering French centre-half Mamadou Sakho, was the preferred partner for Martin Skrtel at the heart of the backline. Agger has two years remaining on his current contract at Anfield and there is no sign of serious talks over an extension to the deal.
