Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is making steady moves already to improve his squad ready for next season and is hoping to follow up a successful bid for Southampton striker Rickie Lambert, with a move for Emre Can. The German champions sold Can for a fee of £4.5m last summer but did include a buy-back clause which they are said to not want to activate. Instead, the youngster now looks set to make a summer move to Anfield after a £12m deal with Liverpool was accepted, following advanced talks earlier this week.
