LIVERPOOL LUIS SUAREZ BANNED 9 INTERNATIONALS AND 4 MONTH/ Liverpool (England)- Liverpool and Uruguay striker Luis Suarez has been banned for nine international games and been handed a four month suspension from partaking in ‘football related activity’. Suarez tried to take a chunk out of Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini’s shoulder during Uruguay’s vital Group D win over the Azzurri on Tuesday. Liverpool Football Club has released the following statement in response to the FIFA Disciplinary Committee’s decision: “Liverpool Football Club will wait until we have seen and had time to review the FIFA Disciplinary Committee report before making any further comment”.
