TRASNFER NEWS ROMA TO HIJACK LIVERPOOL’S MOVE FOR SHAQIRI/ Rome (Italy)- According to reports in Italy, Roma have begun negotiations with Bayern Munich to sign Switzerland star Xherdan Shaqiri. Sky Sport Italia claim that Roma are willing to spend £15m on the highly talented winger, who shone at the World Cup this summer with Switzerland. The 22-year-old is keen to leave Bayern this summer after falling down the pecking order at the Allianz Arena. Shaqiri has been heavily linked with a move to Premier League giants Liverpool this summer. Roma have already snapped up one of Liverpool’s summer targets by signing former Chelsea star Ashley Cole.
